Drivers pulled over by alert police in Bishopbriggs

EAGLE-eyed police charged a motorist for driving through a red light last week.

The 49-year-old man was pulled over on Kirkintilloch Road, Bishopbriggs, at around 2pm on Tuesday, August 28.

Meanwhile, a motorist has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal for careless driving.

Police spotted the 52-year-old man driving erratically at around 12.25am on Friday, August 31, on Kirkintilloch Road, Bishopbriggs.

In other police news, a man is facing drugs charges after being allegedly caught with cannabis.

Police say the 30-year-old was found in possession of the drug at around 6.50pm on Wednesday, August 29, in Lammermuir Road, Kirkintilloch.
