The countdown is on for the national education awards and the people of East Dunbartonshire have been asked to nominate their top teaching professionals.
The Scottish Education Awards 2014 will recognise the teachers, staff and schools that go the extra mile. They also recognise the hard work and innovation taking place in classrooms across Scotland.
Michael Russell, Cabinet Secretary for Education and Lifelong Learning, said: “The awards give us all an opportunity to recognise, share and celebrate our schools’ fantastic work.”
There are also categories to recognise and reward the dedication of teachers, head-teachers and support staff
Nominations close on February 21. For further information visit www.scottisheducationawards.org.uk
