Family day set to be fun-omenal success

Residents are preparing for a fun-tastic event this weekend.

Woodhill Residents’ Group will hold its annual Family Fun Day on Sunday (September 16).

The fun day, which is now in its fifth year, was started as a great way of bringing the whole community together.

This year’s event will feature attractions including a mobile climbing wall, face painting, raffle, bouncy castles and pocket-money toys.

Woodhill Residents’ Group chairman Donald Macdonald said: “We are really looking forward to this year’s Woodhill Family Fun Day.

“Last year the mobile climbing wall was really popular so we are delighted to be able to bring it back.

“We will be selling wristbands which mean children can play on the castles as much as they like.”

The fun day, which has been sponsored this year by local newsagent Four Square on Woodhill Road, runs from 1pm till 3pm at Etive Park beside Menteith Avenue.
