Firefighters called out to school after pool floods

A HYDROPOOL at a Lenzie-based school overflowed last week prompting a call to the fire service.

Firefighters from Kirkintilloch attended Campsie View School on Wednesday at around 8.15pm to deal with the flood.

Gordon Currie, head of education at East Dunbartonshire Council, said: “The hydropool overflowed but this was cleared up quickly and efficiently and there was no damage caused.”
