Gliding and golfing to help sick children

Two charities for sick children are looking for volunteers to take part in exciting and entertaining projects to raise cash.

Fly across the Clyde on a 1000ft Zip Wire Slide in aid of the Ronald McDonald House at Yorkhill Hospital, where parents can stay while their youngster has treatment. The adrenaline-pumping event takes place on September 13. Call Asiyah on 0141 201 0782 for more

Golf fans are being invited to bid in a charity auction to help youngsters suffering from Crohn’s disease. Enjoy a day out at Gleneagles worth £600 in aid of Glasgow charity Cure Crohn’s Colitis.
