A caring youngster has braved having her long hair chopped to donate it for a wig for children suffering hair loss.
Kind-hearted 11-year-old Shelly McBrier had 16 inches of her hair cut for the Little Princess Trust.
Shelly, a pupil at St Michael’s Primary on Moodiesburn, also raised £300 for the charity.
Her friends at the local youth club watched as she underwent the massive hair cut.
Shelly’s mum Donna said: “Shelly is a very caring and supportive wee girl. She’s always thinking about others.
“We would like to thank everyone in the Moodiesburn community for their generosity.”
