Have your say on policing and crime in Kirkintilloch

PEOPLE are being urged to go along and have their say at ‘Police and Community meetings’ being held across East Dunbartonshire.

It’s your chance to meet with local officers, speak up for your community and listen to them explain the local policing plans for your area.

Inspector Donald Leitch – communities inspector, East Dunbartonshire – said: “ Strathclyde Police is committed to working with our communities to form a strong partnership and to address any concerns that might arise.

“I would urge people to come along to our Police and Community meetings and play their part in this partnership.”

The meetings are held quarterly and the next meeting dates are:

Campsie and Kirkintilloch North – Monday, February 18, 6pm-7pm in William Patrick Library, Kirkintilloch

Lenzie and Kirkintilloch South – Wednesday, February 20, 6pm-7pm in Lenzie Public Halls

Kirkintilloch East and Twechar – Wednesday, February 27, 6pm-7pm in Twechar Healthy Living Centre
