A 22-year-old man was airlifted to hospital after being seriously injured in a fall in Campsie Glen.
The man suffered head injuries after plunging 25ft at a waterfall in an area known locally as the ‘Car Park in the Sky’.
The beauty spot is just north of Lennoxtown. The incident happened last Thursday. He was with a number of friends who raised the alarm at around 6.30pm.
It is understood he was taken to the Southern General Hospital in Glasgow by helicopter, where he received treatment.
No one else was injured according to police.
