Just not fare – vandals cost £150 damage to steal £15 from taxi

A TAXI has been targeted by a thuggish thief who smashed their way into the vehicle.

The silver London taxi cab was parked in Badenoch Road, Kirkintilloch, when it was targeted overnight between Monday, January 23, and the next morning.

Around £15 in cash was taken from the cab after a window was smashed – causing a further £150 worth of damage.

It is the latest in a series of thefts from taxis in recent weeks.
