Kirkintilloch BBs to celebrate 50th anniversary
A BB company is preparing to celebrate its 50th anniversary. and is looking for former members to get in touch.
The 5th Kirkintilloch Boys' Brigade Company meets in St Mary's Church and was formed on November 17, 1958.
The BB company is planning to mark its golden anniversary with a series of events in November.
As well as holding a celebration dinner, members will also be organising a display of company memorabilia.
Stephen McKean, organiser in charge of the junior section, said: "If anyone has anything that they feel would be of interest to young or old please let us know.
"I am particularly keen to find any kind of memorabilia or photographs from the early years.
"We will label any items with the donors name and ensure their safe return after the anniversary."
The date of the dinner will be announced later in the year and all former members are welcome to attend.
