Look where we are now - Kirkintilloch Link Road takes shape

AFTER years of hard work, delays and disruption, there are signs that a long-awaited road is within reach.

Work on the Kirkintilloch Link Road is progressing well.

Construction of the 30m road, which will connect the town to the Hornshill interchange on the M80 Stepps Bypass, is due to be finished at the end of this year.

The project has been dogged by delays and rising costs, but looks on track now.
