Lorry driver dies in motorway crash

A MAN has died following a motorway crash.

John Paul Pratt’s HGV lorry was involved in a collision with a traffic management vehicle on the M80, on the morning of Tuesday (May 29).

Mr Pratt (39), from Bishopbriggs, was taken to the Forth Valley Royal Hospital, where he later died.

Two other men who were hurt during the crash were released from the hospital after receiving treatment for minor injuries.

The accident happened on the northbound carriageway between the Haggs and Bankhead junctions.
