A YOUNG singer was delighted to be part of a choir singing alongside the famous Rod Stewart.
Natasha Rashed (24), a former member of UKTheatreSchool, was one of 18 singers in the choir formed by the school to join Rod for his ITV Christmas special, recently shown on STV.
They sang Silent Night from Rod’s latest album ‘Merry Christmas, Baby’.
The excited young Scottish performers mingled with the star-studded line up at the event in Stirling Castle, including Nicola Benedetti, Kylie Minogue and Michael Buble.
Natasha, from Robroyston, said: “We couldn’t believe our luck when Michael Buble gave us a team talk just before we walked on stage and high-fived each one of us.
“He had us totally psyched as we went on to perform with Rod in front of the celebrity audience. It was an amazing experience we will never forget.”
Natasha is pictured in the second row from the back, second from the right, with Michael Buble and the rest of the choir.
