Today (Wednesday) sees the start of East Dunbartonshire’s ‘Early Years Fest’ - a fun four days of activities for little ones.
Youngsters are being encouraged to come along and get creative in fun and messy workshops, enjoyable family shows, Bookbug Week celebrations, and much more.
Highlights include ‘Old McDonald and the Three Pigs Plus...’ at Lenzie Public Hall and Twechar Healthy Living and Enterprise Centre, ‘Lapin Wants Ice Cream’ at Woodhill Evangelical Church, and a visit by children’s author Vivian French to Bishopbriggs Library.
Scott Hill, chair of the East Dunbartonshire Leisure and Culture Trust said: “This is the first time we have held this festival and there’s a lot of excitement as it gives us a great opportunity to reach out to a younger audience.”
