Oh come all ye faithful ... dogs, cats and even a horse!

ALL creatures great and small are expected to gather at a church for a special ceremony this weekend.
A pet blessing service is being held for the third year at St Cyprian’s Episcopal Church, in Lenzie.
The 30-minute service will include hymns and an individual blessing for each animal.
The Reverend Moira Jamieson decided to hold the service two years ago and it has proved a hit.
Moira has two cocker spaniels, three-year-old Ruach and one-year-old Brachan.
She said: “My husband and I had just got a dog and I wanted to do something for one of the pet charities.
“I heard about pet blessings and decided to give it a go. Last year we had a horse who waited outside for his blessing and I’m hoping he will be back again this year.
“We’ve had a lot of dogs, a few cats and guinea pigs.
“I realise, having dogs of my own, what people feel about their animals, that they really care for them and love them. It’s good for owners to have this opportunity to come along and chat with other people.
“This year I’m trying to get more children to come along with their pets as someone from Cats Protection is coming with a tombola for children and donations this year will go to their Glasgow branch.”
The blessing service takes place this Saturday, September 29, at 11am and is open to anyone who wants to take their pets along, you don’t have to be a member of any church.
