Police hunt crook who was startled by home-owner

A WOULD-be burglar fled empty-handed after being disturbed in Bishopbriggs.

A property in Westfield, Bishopbriggs, was targeted by the criminal at around 4am on Sunday, January 21.

The raider gained access to the insecure property but ran away when he was confronted by the householder.

The suspect is described as being around 20-30-years-old, 5ft10in tall and was wearing a dark grey puffy jacket and denims.

Police are keen to hear from anybody who recognises the description or saw anything on the night. Call 0141 532 4400.
