Police launch hunt for stolen ‘Cobra’

THIEVES who ‘strong-armed’ a heavy piece of construction machinery are being hunted.

The steel ‘Cobra’ machine was taken from a site in Kirkintilloch Road, Lenzie, betweeen 3.30pm on Wednesday, July 27, and 9.30am on Monday, July 2.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 0141 532 4400.

Meanwhile, officers have arrested a man suspected of housebreaking.

The 38-year-old was charged after being detained at around 1pm on Saturday, June 30, in Kirkintilloch Road, Bishopbriggs.
