Police make drug arrests in Bishopbriggs, Lenzie and Kirkintilloch

ALLEGED drugs offences led to a number of arrests last week.

A 16-year-old boy was allegedly found in possession of cannabis in Strathkelvin Retail Park, Bishopbriggs, on Tuesday, December 11, at around 9.30pm.

In a separate incident two 21-year-old men were stopped by police in Laxton Drive, Lenzie, on Wednesday, December 12, at around midnight.

It’s alleged they were in possession of cannabis.

And a 24-year-old man was charged with possession of cannabis and diazepam in Eastside, Kirkintilloch, on Wednesday, December 12, at around 9.30pm.
