Post office robbery in Bishopbriggs probed by police

POLICE are hunting two raiders who robbed a post office in Bishopbriggs on Friday.

Workers at RS McColl on Woodhill Road were subjected to a terrifying ordeal when they were targeted by the pair of thugs at around 11.30am on Friday, November 30.

They escaped with a sum of money as shocked customers looked on.

Police say that “enquiries into the crime are currently ongoing” and have appealed for any witnesses they have not already interviewed to come forward.
