Power outrage as thieves steal £1,300 worth of tools

BEWARE of anyone offering cut-price power tools, police have warned.

Items with an estimated value of more than £1,300 were stolen from a van.

The Citreon van was parked on Birch Drive, in Lenzie, between 8.30am and 11am on Wednesday, January 18, when it was targeted by thieves.

Police have appealed for anyone who may have been offered the tools for sale to contact them on 0141 532 4400 or Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.
