Bishopbriggs new seven-day Post Office in Woodhill will reopen on Thursday after being closed for three days for a major refurbishment.
The new-look post office service, located within McColls convenience store, will be ready for customers at 1pm.
Anne Clark, area manager, said: “We know how important post office services are to residents of Bishopbriggs .
“We are confident that this vibrant new-style venue at the heart of the community will be popular.
“The modernisation is part of a major government programme enabling us to continue investing in the post office network and to map out a bold growth strategy through to the end of the decade.”
The post office service at Woodhill will have an open plan combination counter in the store, which has remained open while the refurbishment has taken place.
Alternative post office services have been available at the Churchill Way and Broomton Road branches in Bishopbriggs while the work has been carried out.
The service at Woodhill will be available from 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday, from 8am to 6pm on Saturdays and from 6.30am to 1.30pm on Sundays.
Anne added: “The extra 26 hours service every week will be much more convenient for customers, offering a much greater choice.”
