Rubbish concerns in Auchinairn

Concerns have been raised about a site on a busy street becoming a dumping ground.

Residents say the litter on ground beside a car park in Auchinairn Road, Bishopbriggs, is a disgrace.

Locals claim the problem has got worse since a fence around the site fell down earlier this year.

One concerned resident said: “The place is a disgrace, it’s that bad that I am ashamed to bring my family up here.

“It’s been like this for years but its getting worse and since the fence fell down there has been rubbish everywhere. It’s terrible.”
