Generous staff at Scottish Water are helping nearly 400 vulnerable children to have a happier Christmas.
The water workers have placed presents under a special ‘Angel Tree’ in the company’s Stepps headquarters in recent weeks.
The gifts will now be distributed to children in six children’s centres around Glasgow by charity Action for Children Scotland.
Fiona Burley, Scottish Water’s Volunteering Programme Co-ordinator, said: “Scottish Water is an important part of every community across Scotland and we are delighted to be able to support so many vulnerable children this Christmas.
“We know our staff will be very pleased that they have made a difference for so many children in the Glasgow area.”
