POLICE are warning people to be on the look-out after thieves drove off in a £10,000 car after they sneaked into a house and stole keys.

A 32-year-old woman was in the back garden with her dog at her home in Burnbrae Street, in Barmulloch, when the robbery took place at around 11.30pm on Thursday, August 30.

The Skoda Fabia was driven in the direction of Red Road.

Police have urged residents not to leave keys hanging at the back of the door as criminals can try and steal them by placing implements through letter boxes.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact Baird Street Police on 0141 532 4400.
