Thieves swipe metal gates from Lenzie home
METAL thieves targeted a house in Victoria Road, Lenzie, last week – stealing metal gates.
The theft took place between 1am on Friday, January 27, and 2pm the next day.
Police have recently issued warnings about thieves stealing metal – such as drain covers and discarded items in gardens.
Meanwhile, a mountain bike worth £400 has been stolen from a garden shed.
The black bike was taken from a shed at a house in Elizabeth Avenue, Milton of Campsie, at some point between Tuesday, January 24, and Friday, January 27.
