Tyres slahed on woman’s car

A VANDAL slashed four car tyres in an attack last week.

The Nissan Qashqai was damaged while parked in Teviot Avenue, in Bishopbriggs, overnight between Tuesday and Wednesday last week.

In other news, a power saw worth £500 was stolen from a Ford Transit van parked on Armour Drive, Kirkintilloch, overnight between Monday and Tuesday last week.

Meanwhile, two men have been charged for allegedly dealing in metal without a licence.

They were stopped by police while driving a yellow transit van in Merkland Road, Kirkintilloch, at around 1.45pm on Tuesday, January 31.
