Vandals destroy taxi in callous attack in East Dunbartonshire

A TAXI driver has been left to count the cost after his cab was destroyed by fire over the weekend.

Fire services were called to Slatefield, in Lennoxtown, to extinguish the blaze at around 5.45am on Sunday, May 13.

The cab, said by police to be worth around £10,000, was completely burnt out. Vandals have been blamed for starting the fire.
