Man arrested following police raid

A 46-year-old man has been arrested and is presently detained in police custody in connection with alleged drugs and alleged serious and organised crime offences.

Following a police investigation, officers from the Organised Crime and Counter Terrorism Unit entered a property, under warrant, in Forest Hill Drive, Springburn around 7.15am on Friday and arrested a 46-year-old man.

Detective Superintendent David Gordon said: “This was a significant and extensive investigation which is testament to Police Scotland’s dedication to pursuing anyone who is involved in illegal activity such as drugs and organised crime.

“We will continue to combat criminals to keep our communities safe and ensure that those involved are brought before the courts.”
