That’s the plea from residents over plans to transform the town centre.

Supermarket giants Morrisons are due to enter into a public consultation with residents over proposals for Bishopbriggs town centre.

However, residents say they need to know what the consultation will involve so they can prepare for it.

A spokesperson for Bishopbriggs Community Council said: “If everyone works together on this there is the potential to get something that both sides can be proud of.”

Morrisons bought the former Bishopbriggs High School site in December 2010.

Planning permission is already in place for a 64,000sq ft supermarket and there will also be space for a community hub.

A spokesperson for Morrisons said the consultation process will be clearly advertised in local media and they would”listen carefully” to the views of residents.
