A PENSIONER was left shocked after waking up on Boxing Day morning to find a child's scooter had been thrown through her living room window.
Anne Woods (78), who lives at Lammermuir Sheltered Housing complex, in Kirkintilloch, slept through the incident.
She said: "I didn't hear a thing and my neighbour didn't either.
"When I came into the room there was glass and snow everywhere.
"I thought at first the roof must have collapsed, but then I saw the scooter on a table.
"There was glass all over the room - it damaged a lampshade and broke an ornament."
She added: "If it had been thrown through my bedroom window I could have been killed."
