Spireview and Copperworks Housing has successfully bid to create a new greenspace, with a small plaza and a kick-about space, on a triangle of land in Royston.

It will be located on a currently derelict section of land between Millburn Street, Rosemount Street and Forrestfield Street.

The council has now approved the application. Conditions attached to the decision include the developers submitting a maintenance schedule and a biodiversity action plan.
