Police called after 50 people involved in ‘riot’ on Friday night

POLICE raced a large scale disturbance involving around 50 people in Muirhead on Friday, March 2.

The incident took place on Cumbernauld Road at around 11.40pm.

Four people - two males and two females, ages 16 to 18 years old - have been reported to the Prosecutor Fiscal for various offences including alleged breach of the peace, alleged police assault and alleged possession of cocaine.
