Police called out after disturbance at Stobhill

Police were called out to Stobhill Hospital after a report of a 
disturbance within the hospital.

A 45-year-old man 
was arrested after the 
incident which happened around 5.15pm last Wednesday.

A Police Scotland spokesman said this week: “Police responded to a call out to Stobhill Hospital.

“They received a report that a man was threatening to self-harm within the hospital.

“A 45-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident.

He added: “I would like to stress that no members of the public were injured or put at risk .

“Police responded 
appropriately to the 
incident.”

He said on Friday it was not clear 
yet if a report would be 
sent to the procurator 
fiscal.
