Police officers are looking for help to find a missing grandfather from Dumbarton.
Paul Harley (53) of Whiteford Avenue, Dumbarton, has been missing since Sunday, September 28, and there is concern about his wellbeing.
Paul is described as white, around 5ft5in tall and of slim build. He has black receding hair, green eyes and a tattoo stating “Kyla” on his right arm.
It is believed he left his home address on the morning of Sunday, September 28. He is known to wear a black leather jacket and a dark red hood top, however he is known to enjoying walking and may be wearing outdoor apparel.
Paul’s family are very worried about him and ask that anyone who has any information as to where Paul may be or who he’s with get in touch with police as soon as possible.
Paul’s daughter Jennifer appealed to him saying: “Dad if you are reading this please please get in touch, we all love you too bits and just want you home. Your grand daughter is desperate to see you.”
Police enquiry has shown that Paul is well known and well liked in the local community with friends and neighbours all appearing to be shocked by his disappearance.
Extensive enquiries have been ongoing since Paul was reported missing to Police on September 29 and the public have rallied by reacting to social media appeals. Police continue to appeal to the public asking that any sighting of Paul be reported as soon as possible as he requires medication and it is unknown if he has his medication with him.
Paul is known to travel throughout the country by train and is known to take walks in wooded areas or on the hills. He is also a sociable person and enjoys watching football and has coached a local team.
Chief Inspector Mark Lundie has appealed for information, stating: “I would like to ask anyone who has seen or has had contact with Paul to contact our incident room at Dumbarton Police Office. Can anyone with any information please contact police on 101 as soon as possible.”
