Police made arrests this week for alleged offences ranging from shoplifting to breach of the peace.

On Tuesday, officers arrested a 32-year-old male for alleged shoplifting in a store at Cowgate Kirkintilloch.

Three teenage boys, two aged 17 and one aged 18 were charged with breach of the peace and resisting arrest on Auchinloch Road, Lenzie on Saturday.

A 31-year-old male was reported for allegedly driving with no insurance on Victoria Road, Lenzie, on Friday and his car was seized.
