Police are hunting for thieves who struck at Huntershill
Village in Bishopbriggs in
the early hours of the morning last Sunday.

They would particularly like to speak to a suspect caught on CCTV camera outside
SC Designs Kitchens around 12.30am.

The latest incident happened a week after robbers made off with £10,000 worth of power tools from the
back of a van at the firm in Crowhill Road.

This time, the thieves swiped beauty products from nearby Harmony Health and Beauty, and sat nav equipment from lorries belonging to John Watson Haulage contractors in the same street. They then tried to break in to SC Designs’ showroom.

On his Facebook page, owner Scott Milne, who has put up a £500 reward for information into the previous theft on June 23, appealed to people to share the CCTV image of the suspect and said: “Huntershill Village is having hassle again.

“There is a reward for information leading to this individual being caught. He was driving a silver five-door Astra by the looks of the footage and has a tattoo on his left leg.”

Police confirmed the thefts had taken place and added: “Our inquiries are continuing. We want to speak to the person in the CCTV image.”
