COCAINE with a street value of around £2.2million was seized during a raid on a house in Gartcosh last week.

Eight police swooped on the property at around 3.20pm on Thursday, May 12, and discovered the two kilos of cocaine, as well as cannabis and amphetamines, during their search.

Two men, aged 27 and 36, were arrested and were expected to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court earlier this week.
