QUIZ police officers on the issues that matter most to you.

That’s the offer to villagers from police in Bishopbriggs, who have announced they will hold regular drop-in meetings at Torrance Community Centre, in a bid to find out what crimes have the most impact on residents in the area.

The first meeting will take place on Wednesday, November 9, from 10am-noon.

Further meetings will take place every second Wednesday until further notice.

PC Stuart Cairns hopes there will be a good turnout and that the meetings will be a success.

He told the Herald: “It will be an opportunity for people from Torrance and the surrounding areas to come and meet their local police officers.”

PC Cairns added:: “Whether they want to tell us about an issue they are worried about, or just want to pop in and get advice, they are more than welcome to come along and have their say.”
