COMMUNITIES joined together on Remembrance Sunday to pay tribute to those who lost their lives defending their country.
Services took place in churches across East Dunbartonshire and North Lanarkshire on Sunday, November 13.
In Kirkintilloch residents took part in a parade through the town which ended with a short service of Remembrance at the gates of Peel Park.
Parades were also held in Lennoxtown and Milton of Campsie.
In Bishopbriggs residents took part in a parade to the town’s cenotaph where the laying of the wreaths took place.
Wreaths were also laid at the cenotaph in Auchinairn. And in Muirhead the community came together for a parade which ended with the laying of the wreaths at the village war memorial.
