Roman around at the Auld Kirk

What did the Romans do for us? Well, they built the Antonine Wall for a start, the North West Frontier of the Roman Empire, nearly two thousand years ago.

Head to the Auld Kirk Museum on February 14 for an exhibition tracing the history of the famous wall, complete with Antonine Guard on duty in full gear.

Children are invited to dress up in Roman armour and togas. For more, call 0141 578 0144.
