Rossvale Juniors are hoping that a recently written track by Katee to help celebrate their 40th anniversary can be released for sale.

The team, from Bishopbriggs, play in the Scottish Junior Football Association’s West Region. Originally formed in 1976 by John Grey as Woodhill Boys Club, they run youth football teams from U8 to U21 level.

Katee Kross is a teenage singer/songwriter from Bishopbriggs who sings and plays acoustic guitar and has featured on BBC Scotland more than once.

The team were therefore very grateful that she was prepared to donate her time to both write and perform what is now known as the ‘Rossvale Revolution’.

The club are now trying to find someone who will donate some studio time to record the song which they then intend to make available, with the proceeds being donated to charity.

If you know of, or own a studio, please give the club a call.

Meantime here’s a sneak preview of the live version by Katee.
