PEOPLE of all ages across East Dunbartonshire are being urged to get on the starting blocks for two special charity runs.
Almost 100 people have already registered to take part in Deafblind Scotland’s 10k race and 5k fun run along the banks of the Forth and Clyde Canal in just over a fortnight.
The races – on Saturday, April 16 – aim to raise funds for the charity to support its work to improve the lives of deafblind people.
Visit www.deafblindscotland.org.uk to sign up or go along on the day to Bishopbriggs Leisuredrome.
It costs £10 for the 10k and £8 for the 5k.
