A Bishopbriggs pets store are holding their annual Santa Paws drive on Saturday.
Pets at Home will be asking customers to donate an extra present to help pets in need of rehoming or to purchase a 50p Christmas dinner for a pet owner facing hardship.
Pets at Home are launching their annual festive charity drive on Saturday, December 6.
Save a Staffie Scotland will be in the store along with Tora Black Belt Academy Karate Club who have been collecting donations.
The cash will be handed over to the charity and Santa will be dropping in to help too.
Save A Staffie Scotland is run solely by volunteers to help dogs in the community.
The charity say they have three main aims.
The first is to raise cash for a refuge or sanctuary for Staffordshire Terriers, a breed which often gets a bad press.
The others are to campaign for changes in breeding and ownership legislation in Scotland, and to promote responsible dog ownership.
