A LEADING local author is leading protests against library service cuts.
Theresa Breslin, from Lenzie, started writing her best-selling books while working in East Dunbartonshire Council’s mobile library - a service which was controversially scrapped last year.

It was part of ‘Save Our Libraries Day’ which saw library users, authors, parents and children take part in events across the UK - with more than 350 libraries thought to be at risk of closure.
