School staff and pupils are selling plants to help continue a successful green-fingered project.

Campsie View in Bloom has been a year-long project which ties in with the schools Eco work.

A secret garden has been created for the pupils to experience and learn from, as well as work in the grounds improving the path and the paddock and involving the school’s language curriculum.

And there’s been lots of input from local businesses, with staff from Lloyds bank and Scottish Hydro volunteering hands-on help with the support of their bosses.

Now the ‘Campsie View In Bloom Plant Sale will raise much needed funds to continue with the project.

It will take place at the Lenzie school on Saturday, May 16, from 10am-12pm.There will be a bedding plant sale, with plenty of colourful bargains. There will also be home baking, tea/coffee, a lucky dip, a nail bar face painting and temporary tattoos.
