Concern is growing about a 54-year-old man who has been missing from Bearsden since Saturday (June 18) as the police continue to search for him.

Stuart Teese was last seen leaving his home in Stirling Avenue around 8.30pm on Saturday night when he got into his silver Ford Fiesta Zetec car and drove off. The registration is SH11 EHM.

Extensive enquiries are still being carried out, however attempts to locate Mr Teese have so far proved unsuccessful.

Stuart is described as around 5ft 8inches tall, medium build with short grey hair and he is normally clean shaven. He was last seen wearing a blue and grey t-shirt with horizontal stripes, beige shorts and either slippers or shoes.

Inspector Duncan Evans from Kirkintilloch Police Office said: “Stuart is close to his family and they are growing increasingly concerned for him and just want him home safe and well.

“He often visited the Loch Lomond and Rowardennan areas so it’s possible he may have travelled there. If anyone has seen Stuart or his car then please contact officers as soon as possible and pass the information on.”

Anyone with any information or knowledge about Stuart’s whereabouts is asked to call officers at Kirkintilloch Police Office on the non-emergency number, 101.
