TORRENTIAL rain brought a flood of discoloured water down a residential street recently.

The downpour on Friday, June 22, was accompanied by thunder and lightning.

Frazer Molyneux captured a video of water streaming down Fern Avenue in Bishopbriggs.

The 20-year-old said: “There was this sudden gush of water. I think the water is orange because Auchinairn Primary School’s ash pitch is at the top of the road.”
