This summer has seen a whole host of fun activities for holidaying children - from sporty pursuits to reading projects based on the works of Roald Dahl.
One of the latest was a summer football camp held at Bishopbriggs Leisuredrome.
Youngsters were taught a few essential skills by coaches and took part in training exercises to hone their fitness.
They were then able to put into practice everything they had learned as they took to the pitch for a five-a-side tournament.
The Herald photographer was there to catch all the fun as the group of youngsters had a real ball.
