A Masters student at the University of Stirling got an early Christmas present from First Midland Bluebird when she won a £3,000 dream holiday to any destination in a free prize draw.

The competition was held to celebrate First’s great fare deal for students in the 2015/16 academic year. Thousands of students entered from Aberdeen to Glasgow and across the Central belt with 25-year-old Louise Watson’s name picked out at random.

Louise said: “I’d forgotten I’d even entered but was absolutely ecstatic when I’d found out I had won the prize. It really is a dream come true and I’m definitely planning on a holiday of a difference. I’ve always wanted to go on safari or whale watching and thanks to First I now can.”

Jason Hackett, First Midland Bluebird Business Manager in Stirling, said: “We’re delighted for Louise and pleased she could join us to celebrate a great deal for students with low fares and great network connections. I’m sure students will continue to enjoy our great services in 2016 and take advantage of our fast and frequent travel options.”
