Stolen car from Lennoxtown found dumped in Glasgow

A PROBE has been launched after a car was nicked from a village in East Dunbartonshire and recovered in Glasgow.

The white Honda Civic was taken from Main Street, Lennoxtown, between 1am and 7am on Thursday, April 19.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 0141 532 4400.

Meanwhile, two motorists were charged with road traffic offences while driving on busy main roads in Kirkintilloch last week.

The first, a 37-year-old man, was charged with driving while using a mobile phone at around 5.55pm on Thursday, April 19, in Glasgow Road.

A 46-year-old man was then pulled over by police for speeding at around 10am on Friday, April 20, in Waterside Road.
